The Claypool Lennon Delirium unites Primus bassist Les Claypool and multi-instrumentalist Sean Lennon.  The experimental psych-rock duo came together while Lennon’s Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger was opening for Primus.  They ended up with a psychedelic pop sound that borrows from Primus’ more progressive moments and Lennon’s sense of experimental rawness.

In 2016 the duo unleashed their debut album Monolith of Phobos.  The Claypool Lennon Delirium followed that release with a 2017 EP Lime and Limpid Green that comprises four covers of songs originally by Pink Floyd, The Who, King Crimson and Flower Travellin’ Band.

The duo’s new record South of Reality is out February 2019 with its lead single “Blood and Rockets” now available.  The sprawling six-and-a-half minute epic finds Claypool and Lennon crooning and snarling respectively over spacey synths and chiming guitars.

The Claypool Lennon Delirium will headline a U.S. tour to promote the record throughout 2019.
