Did you know the real name of Marilyn Manson is Brian Hugh Warner? He was born in Canton, Ohio, January 5, 1969.

Manson is best known for records released in the 1990s, most notably Antichrist Superstar and Mechanical Animals, which (along with his public image) earned him a reputation in mainstream media as a controversial figure and negative influence on young people.

However, he has released a cover of the Johnny Cash song. God’s Gonna Cut You Down, also known as “Run On” and “Run On for a Long Time,” is a traditional folk song which has been recorded by numerous artists representing a variety of genres. The lyrics are a warning to sinners that no matter how hard they try, they will not avoid God’s judgment.

The song is on the 24 Hours to Live movie soundtrack. The film, released December 1st, 2017, stars Ethan Hawke, Liam Cunningham and features a soundtrack/score by Manson’s band mate, Tyler Bates.
